Come and ‘meet the makers’ in La Catedral studios, Dublin 8, a rare opportunity to see what happens behind the doors of our studio!
The artists at La Catedral Studios are a multi-skilled collective, with work ranging from sculpture and painting to fashion, textiles, millinery, jewellery, storytelling and music-making.
Be greeted by our resident writer and comedian, introducing them to the historical building built in 1910. Then enter the artists’ studios, and find out what makes them tick, what inspires them, and why design matters to them.
Within the studios, you will find makers from all over the world, a majority of women, and many artists whose work focuses on sustainability, upcycling, slow fashion and volunteering, as well as artists working with the Irish Language.
