Join us for afternoon walk with heritage arts specialist Rosemary Kavanagh around Tramore Park where we will have a chance to learn some of the weavable, medicinal and edible plants of the area and get a glimpse in how to read the landscape through stories.

Rosemary Kavanagh is a willow basket weaver, willow grower and heritage specialist, dedicating the past 13 years to courting many ancient heritage arts and ways of the land wise and winkled with time. Rosemary works in the National Schools throughout Munster through the Heritage in Schools Program, grows 15 varieties of heritage basketry willow, teaches adult and children’s courses throughout the country and weaves many unique creations inspired by the great roots of tradition.
