Change Makers is a curated selection of graduate work spanning the disciplines of Textiles & Fashion Design, Graphic Design & Illustration and Product Design. The selected works showcase new Irish designers as they explore themes of concern within contemporary society.
The exhibited works showcase the designers’ craft and skill in their chosen discipline. This exhibition of contemporary design goes beyond the useful and the beautiful, exploring design as a dynamic and its role in bringing about change.
By showcasing contemporary, high-quality, innovative design indigenous to the west of Ireland, it helps shift focus from a Dublin-centric view we often have in examining Irish Design. The exhibition intends to demonstrate the value of design as a career and the value of change-makers.
