In this Design Week workshop, Aleksandra Kowalczyk will demonstrate a variety of ways in which she uses the laser cutting machine in her design process. She will explain how she makes card wall panels as well as how she makes intricate models and prototypes for ceramic/glass/bronze casting. She will explain in detail how each pattern is developed by breaking them into smaller units. She will demonstrate how patterns emerge and by showing this, can instruct how one can create their own infinitive pattern. She hopes this workshop will show you how playful and creative geometry can be.
